wedding ring pillow: done!

Remember I posted my wedding ring pillow crochet top??  Well, it's finally done!  I'd say it looks awfully pretty :D...Chia made it for her best friend's wedding :).  Lucky friend... :p

I first thought of the idea after seeing ni[D] from bloesem and I was totally mesmerized by her creations...they are soooo beautiful...so I thought of making one myself...and a few months later....this is all I got :( and I don't really know what to do with it :D

wedding rings pillow

I offered Chia to crochet a wedding rings pillow for her best friend's wedding in July.  She will make the pillow from silk...and I've finally done with it...I'll take another picture when Chia is done with the whole thing :)

a doily and a pineapple

The little doily was done when I was on vacation and I totally forgot about it until yesterday :).  And yesterday I crocheted this little pineapple crochet...it was so easy, fun and simple :).  The patterns are from my Japanese crochet books.

pretty in off white and a birthday wish

I finished another one :) and I also love this one :) it's quite big, I believe it's the 15cm diameter ones :)...

and yesterday was my dearest's 30th birthday :) we celebrated at this nice french restaurant and when we took this picture, Isabelle was fast asleep :)...we didn't leave you this time, baby...you were asleep :).  Happy 30th my dearest, you still look stunning as ever :) and my wish for you is our happiness would lasts forever and ever...muach...

mmmmm but fish don't eat apple, right? :)...something I did yesterday...I am still so into small crochet after all :)...my crochet things will be what I'm bringing for my holiday trip coming soon :D

crochet crochet here and there

I am soooo into these little crochet motifs....I have so many things I want to put them into :) hehehehhehee...I even bought a few more crochet books...I love easy and quick projects and I finished this one in an hour-ish time :)....not bad, eh?? :D....now my mom begs me to make her half a top...it's quite cute, actually...she bought this top from Banana Republic, if I'm not mistaken...and the top has this crochet-like top, which is kinda cute...but will take me FOREVER to make :)...I'm still contemplating the idea of making it :p....maybe later...

I love this little crochet...it was so fast to make :) and fun too...and I will be making something beautiful from it...eventually :)...soon rather than later....

crochet hat is done!

I was drinking some espresso last night...so I got a lot done...until 4am to be exact! Only a few more days before the BIG quilt show :) and I am sooo done with this crochet winter cap....which I specially crocheted for me to wear in Tokyo :). I know I know...it is wonky, very not neat and it doesn't even look like the image on the book :'( (a Japanese pattern book ISBN978-4-529-04775-3) but...nevertheless...after MUCH undoing the yarns... after much procrastinating....and much thinking and stressing trying to figure out the last pieces (which I finally did after a very looong time...hence it has taken me more than probably a month to do)....it's DONE and ow well with the shape hahahahaha....

never ending crochet

O how I can't wait to finish my crocheting project....am making a dress for Emma...but it's taking SOOOOO LONG to finish...I still have SOOOOOOO MANY more rows to go :( hix....

mr. piggy is done!

I've been wanting to make a pig, because Em was born in the year of the pig and Finally!! After messing up my "work/dinner area", little porky pig is done!!! It took me quite some time to finish this, since I was so busy lately. A bit disappointed with its size...I guess my yarn is too small :( and I've made Mr.Piggy a wok to carry but I think the wok is too big for him hahahahaha :) The apron turned out ok...not the best but I'm quite happy with the overall result...onto my next project! I need to re-learn knitting!

Last week, Cath and her friend, Agnes, decided to come by for a little crochet lesson on how to make the ring...well, I was only teaching Cath, since Agnes is more senior than us hahahahaha. I also got this BEAUTIFUL mixed cotton yarn from Agnes (thanks, Agnes!!! so happy every time I catch glimpse of that yarn) and I've been imagining all the possibilities ever since :)

well....I'm not exactly too happy with my supposedly "cactus" hihihi...it's a bit of a mess :D and not too cute...that's why it took me a while to finish it, coz I was a bit confused with its bottom part :|...ow well...

my first amigurumi

I can't believe it myself...but here it is!!! My very first FINISHED handcraft project...an amigurumi doll made by crochetting and didn't take too long to finish as well...I'm on my second project now :) so happy!
