another reversible bag to giveaway too (GIVEAWAY #3)

Finally finished this bag! I got the pattern of the lady from a japanese embroidery book, then I changed the dog, since I like dachshund better....but I guess I'm not the greatest cartoonist :p. I added some flower bullions on the lady's skirt and decided to put the tree with the dog :). I then made the lining and made the bag reversible :). I'd say this is a library bag :D or whatever bag you want it to be...It's been made with a lot of love.

The competition is open internationally, all you have to do:
1. leave a comment on the original post at www.liaspace.com telling me what would be your new year's resolution and why you like this bag
2. Make sure you have your email address somewhere in your profile

The winner will be chosen randomly. This contest is open until 6th December 2009. Good luck !

another great bag, I did comment on the other bag too but forgot to leave my email address so here it is: jhargreaves@att.net.
As for my new years resolution, my goal for the upcoming year is just to continue on the trajectory I am on now by continuing to connect with other sewers and crafters online and getting my things out there too. I have decided to just sew what interests me and stop over-thinking!
This bag really appeals to me because of the embroidery, it truly makes the bag an original piece of art! I can see myself walking to the library with it!

I love embroidery. Your bag is beautiful. Such a lot of work. You are a generous lady. My New Years resolution...Hmmm. I am going to work on turning my hobbies into a business (so I can work for myself and never have to work for another again!) While maintaining a calm and happy approach to parenthood. Whoa. That's a tall order. Thanks for taking the time to stop by the blue shed Lia.

hmm, why I like this bag- hard to say but it's the embroidery that makes it. I reckon, without that it would be a pretty cool bag, with that it's an awesome bag.
and new years resolutions? I am not very good at them, so will have the same one as last year, to get a bit fitter.

This is so cute! I love the idea of a reversible bag because you can change things up with out having to have two bags. The embroidery is just adorable too.

My new year's resolution is let go and de-clutter. I am in the process of simplifying my life. Possibly why this bag is so appealing.

My new year's resolution is actually to finish one of my manymanymany afghans that I have started this year. I love making them I love crocheting but for some reason I can never finish them I just get so sick of the same one, the same color, alllll the time. So, for my new year resolution I want to finish ATLEAST one of them. and I can't really penpoint one thing that drew me to this bag. I just love it. it's so beautiful and unique and I love your embroiderying!
