It is finally out!  I was sitting on my table and I saw this strage package...and I wasn't expecting any :D...then I got excited....and yes...the Book is out! Seaside Home is finally out!  Yay yay yay...I've been waiting for a year for this book :D and I am truly HAPPY....I got 2 copies, since I haven't got the time to order extras and I'm giving away 1 book to my beloved readers :).  I love the projects in this book, done by so many talented crafters...and I certainly am proud to be given this chance...so, thank you Susanne, for including me in this.

happy happy spoonfulzine and a giveaway too

Thank you all for voting...I've been very busy lately...no, not work related...you see, you all know I have house helpers and nanny...and since it is the muslim's holiday, they've all gone back home :(...so here I am, cleaning and taking care of the misfits :D...I sneaked a few sewings here and there but I'm mostly doing household chores...which I hate so so so so much...I just can't imagine how the rest of the world sew, cook and clean whilst taking care of your misfits ;).  Like this afternoon...I was doing the kids' laundry as usual..then when it was done, there was a weird clump...at first I thought it was the detergent but it smelled like pee!!!!  Then I knew immediately what it was...and I'm sure you all do too :(...Yes, it was li'l misfit's diaper!!!!! ARGHGHGHGHGHGH....I felt like shooting myself in the head :D...The good thing is...I do actually enjoy the hectic crazy time I get to spend with the misfits (when they're not fighting or messing things up!)

So...after much complaints and chit chat from me...I'd like to congratulate Sertyan for her fox bag :)...I'll send a pack of special things...which I haven't yet gathered :p.

heh??? i'm a winner...

wow...I won something again :)...I love winning things..this happened by chance! :D...I first knew about satsumapress while I was browsing the many wonderful blogs out there, probably when li'l misfit was born and one day I was reading her article about her son, Liam and the need to build a new bathroom for his birthday.  Her story touched me...So, I bought some raffle tickets to help Liam.  I never expected to win anything...but this morning, I got Lynn's email :) and I won striped grograin ribbon sash and matching rosebud hair pins from heart of light.  Lucky me :)

another reversible bag to giveaway too (GIVEAWAY #3)

Finally finished this bag! I got the pattern of the lady from a japanese embroidery book, then I changed the dog, since I like dachshund better....but I guess I'm not the greatest cartoonist :p. I added some flower bullions on the lady's skirt and decided to put the tree with the dog :). I then made the lining and made the bag reversible :). I'd say this is a library bag :D or whatever bag you want it to be...It's been made with a lot of love.

a reversible bag giveaway (GIVEAWAY # 1)

Finally I finished my reversible bag for SMS giveaway! I was going to make a clutch using this method of smocking, and I've actually finished it...but it was a failure...the shape was odd :(. So, I've decided to make this reversible bag. The smocked fabric is made of linen/cotton blend, truly love this fabric :). The green fabric is one of my favorite batik fabric from Java.
